David Knight is the Managing Director of M W Knight & Sons Ltd,  a company originally established by his Grandfather. Over time he has successfully blended its longstanding values with a modern, forward-thinking approach to growth. He has expanded the company’s development portfolio, strengthened operational capabilities, and overseen a significant increase in project output and turnover.

 

His focus on quality craftsmanship, efficient project delivery, and strong client relationships has helped position M W Knight as a trusted and progressive name within the local construction and property industry.

David continues to drive the business with a clear vision for sustainable growth, ensuring M W Knight remains well-placed to take on new opportunities and deliver projects that stand the test of time.

As Construction Project Manager at MW Knight & Sons Ltd, Dan takes projects from the very first plans and discussions through to handover, making sure every stage runs smoothly.

 

Day to day, Dan works closely with clients, ensuring programmes stay on schedule, costs are carefully managed, and workloads across the teams are well coordinated. He also supports our operatives and the wider company to ensure everything comes together both on site and behind the scenes.

 

Before stepping into Project Management, Dan worked as a Site Manager and gained hands-on experience in Site Carpentry and Joinery. Dan holds a university degree in Construction, which provides both the technical knowledge, and the broader skills needed to deliver successful projects. He enjoys building good relationships with clients and making sure they feel supported every step of the way.

Cheryl has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry starting with a Geology Degree at Cardiff University. 

 

As the Operations Manager at M W Knight, Cheryl helps to keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly behind the scenes. From coordinating schedules and managing communication to supporting both our teams on site and clients, Cheryl works to ensure everything stays organised and efficient so the team can focus on doing great work for our clients.

Tony is an experienced Construction Design Manager with a strong track record of leading the design process from early concept through to detailed technical delivery.

 

Acting as the key link between a client’s vision and the final built outcome, Tony works closely with Daniel, our construction project manager to ensure high-quality, compliant, and well-resolved design solutions.

With a career that began in local architectural practices, Tony’s background spans design development and technical delivery, with development & technical Director rolls for various leisure companies in London. This experience is supported by a variety of consultancy roles, providing a well-rounded perspective across sectors and project scales.

 

Adam serves as the Finance Manager at M W Knight and Sons, where he oversees day-to-day financial operations and supports the business in planning for the future. From payroll and monthly reporting to budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement, he plays a key role in helping the company run smoothly and confidently.

 

After earning his degree from Bangor University and qualifying with CIMA, Adam has built a reputation for being both technically sharp and easy to work with. He is committed to keeping the business organised, transparent, and financially prepared for whatever comes next.​
