Our Process
At M W Knight and Sons, we work closely with our clients from the initial stages of their project to clearly define their goals and create tailored solutions. Our extensive experience includes a proven track record as an accredited contractor for Shropshire Council carrying out accessible works, enabling us to help clients with specific needs to make the most out of their homes. Additionally, our expert team is fully equipped to handle the planning application process where required, guiding you step-by-step to ensure a smooth journey to the successful completion of your job.
Design stage
Following an initial enquiry, we meet with clients at home/ on site to get a better understanding of their requirements and needs. We then create a scheme which meets this brief and provide a detailed estimate.
Start date
When a contract has been agreed, we then schedule a start date for your job. In the lead up to this, we work with you to prepare your property/site and agree a programme of works along with a more detailed specification of materials.
Your project
Once we start work on site, our project manager Daniel Barrett will oversee the works and keep you updated throughout each stage. Cheryl Godson (our operations manager) will be your point of contact in the office and will help to ensure that you are fully in the loop throughout the job.
The Finishing
Touches
As works are nearing completion, we will ensure that there is a seamless handover, and will remain actively managing the process until works are finalised. Once we are off site, our role does not end there; we are on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly and finalise any paperwork required.
